The 2nd Greater Bay Area Physical Science Young Scientist Forum (“Forum 2026”) will take place from June 5 to 6, 2026 at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Hong Kong, China.
Following the success of the 1st Forum held at CUHK-Shenzhen in 2025 (initiated by Prof. Benzhong Tang), we are very honored to host the 2nd of its kind. Forum 2026 aims to continue growing into an annual flagship event for Young Scholars (particularly tenure-tracked junior faculties) in Physical Sciences in universities in the Greater Bay Area. With high concentration of young faculties, the Forum hopes to encourage active peer discussions and initiate early collaborations.
In addition to traditional physical science subjects, Forum 2026 also invites frontier topics in materials science, quantum technologies, energy and environmental solutions, and other interdisciplinary physical sciences.
